Relevant education and health care are Saharo’s priority areas.
Capacity building, strengthening services, financial and technical
support and management inputs for grassroots initiatives are also our
focus. Innovative and sustainable development actions with community
support, long-term implications and replicability are accorded priority
in considerations.
Education and Health are larger perspectives, is what Saharo believes in
and promotes; not getting confined to the issue of literacy alone, but
moving beyond covering aspects such as general awareness, life skills as
well as skills for economic gains. Our projects therefore focus on
utilizing the available local resources as well as enhancing skills for
managing resources through a sustainable livelihood approach.

In rural of Sindh out of 30 Patients 1 dying during Pregnancy Rural
.Women facing lot of grievances in these area and studies have shown
that infant mortality rate is higher in rural areas than in urban areas.
This is because of the following reasons•
Rural women receives delayed or no prenatal care or less adequate care
when it is available. This is a major concern in rural areas as risk
factors for infant death include delayed or no prenatal care. It
contributes to a higher rate of infant mortality in rural areas.
• Low education of mother, which is correlated with poverty. Rural
poverty rates have consistently been higher than urban poverty rates.
• Its shocking to know that maternal smoking during pregnancy, is higher
in rural areas. Teen pregnancy rates are often higher in rural areas

Building the local organization
We aim to nurture and develop self-government principles among the
deprived community, despite various barriers in the social system such
as caste, multi-linguistic, multi-religious communities etc... Through
democratization and human rights, this can be promoted at the community
level. Sensitization and advocacy on various developmental areas are
given focus. To build a strong local organization SWO promotes
the following local bodies.

• Village Development Coordination Committee
• Youth association
• Children's club
Saharo reaches out to over a Thousands Women of children & youth
through
various education and healthcare projects across Sindh Province of
Pakistan
For our small Educational and Health Projects in Rural areas of Sindh
Province of Pakistan, we are looking for reputed International Partners
to adopt our Projects and support us technically, morally and
